2008 Community Foundation of the Ozarks Grant

The Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks (DSGO) would like to thank the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO) for awarding our grant application. We are honored to have their support. The CFO's support assists the Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks in our mission to build a network of support for individuals with Down syndrome and those who love and serve them.

We are a growing organization that provides:

• Information for families of newborn babies with Down syndrome
• Unbiased and up-to-date information to the community at-large including employers, medical professionals and educators.
• Host educational programs and social events
• Provide networking outlet for families
• Advocate for the rights of individuals with Down syndrome
• Host professional continuing education programs to area professionals

The development and continued enhancement of the DSGO web-site is the most effective way to serve our community.
