Our Mission

Our mission is to help individuals with Down syndrome become successful by providing support and education to loving families, bringing awareness to early intervention services, promoting inclusive education, highlighting appropriate medical services, encouraging quality employment opportunities and advocating for community wareness and acceptance. We welcome anyone who is interested in advancing the quality of life for individuals with Down syndrome such as parents, caregivers, educators, therapist and other professionals.

Who We Are

Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks, Aug 2007

The Down Syndrome Group of the Ozarks was formed with support from the Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City (DSG) and the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis (DSAGSL).

We have obtained our non-profit 501(c)(3) status. Due to our working relationship with the DSG and DSAGSL, we are able to provide immediate quality programming and services to our members across the Ozarks.

We are a committed group of parents and other interested parties who hope to create an extensive support network for Down syndrome in the Ozarks area.

We are an all volunteer organization that can use your help to support individuals with Down syndrome and their families in the Ozarks area.
